Shakespeare Week
Each year we run Shakespeare Week where our team of professional practitioners visit schools to explore the works of William Shakespeare, his life and writing techniques.
These sessions are in high demand so Cornish Schools are invited to apply to take part!
Shakespeare festivals
Each year we run two mini-Shakespeare festivals for local schools. Each school is supported by our professional practitioners to create a devised version of part of a chosen Shakespeare play.
They are given a first introduction to the play particularly focusing on the story and characters and then are helped to create this as a class. The schools then come together on festival day to perform the whole play on the Minack stage!
We have found that this is an excellent first step into Shakespeare for young people!
