Our Minack Academies help young people to develop advanced theatre skills.  Specialise either in Acting or Musical Theatre. Spend one day a month with professional practitioners. Hear Directors, actors and West End stars talking about practical theatre careers. You will have the chance to take part in performances and enter for Trinity exams each July.

NEW for 2025 - Do you have a passion for Sound or Lighting? Our pilot Technical Academy provides practical training in the technical aspects of theatre. Learn how to use technical equipment and software. Create your own project designs for sound and lighting. Work with professional designers and stage managers and shadow professional technical roles. Create a Play in a Day. Fun, creative workshops take place during school holidays and weekends throughout the year.  There are workshops for different age groups from primary school to adults. Creativity Club happens every Monday 4-5pm at the Centre in Newlyn. Creativity Club helps you to try different types of art and create showpieces at the end of each term. Participation is  free of charge. Email [email protected].

Rising Stars brings together young people aged 8 - 15 from Penzance and the surrounding area.  Enjoy performing and working together to create a fabulous Musical Theatre event.
