TRE

by Sarah Connors, presented by o-region 18 Oct 2023 - 19 Oct 2023

Following a sold-out preview tour earlier in the year, o-region brings the powerful one woman show TRE by Sarah Connors to the Minack.

Mary Martin is home.

As she walks the streets, towans and beaches of the small Cornish town that had been her world, powerful memories awaken and simmer.

‘Thought I’d go for a walk.  Lay some ghosts to rest’.

TRE is a complex story about family, forgiveness and finding yourself in the face of lost dreams.

In turns, funny, romantic heart wrenching and ultimately empowering, TRE is a searing piece of contemporary Cornish playwriting.

"Sarah’s writing gets right to the heart of things.  Her stories and plays are about the messiness of lives, written viscerally but with great humanity. I am a little bit jealous."
