Accessibility

How can we help you with access needs?

Page Anchor

We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming theatre that is accessible to all as we can. But, the steep, rocky geography of the Minack does create some access limitations. If you have concerns or questions about access, please contact us and we will help in any way we can.

Accessible parking

Our car park has accessible parking bays near the theatre entrance. There is step-free access to the visitor centre. Within the site, there is step-free access to the exhibition and café. There is an accessible toilet.

Step free access

We have step-free access to all upper levels on the site. The main auditorium and stage are only accessible via long flights of steps. You can see the stage and auditorium from the accessible balcony and the viewing platform.

Admission for carers

We offer a ‘no questions’ free ticket for anyone who needs to bring a carer with them to access our site (as visitors or audience). We do not ask for proof of carer needs, and these tickets are not limited to specific areas of the auditorium.

Sensory bags

Sensory bags are available for visitor and audience members on request. Our sensory bag is a clear plastic rucksack. It contains a set of ear defenders, sunglasses and a selection of fidget toys. All bags and contents are sanitised between uses. Ask at the entrance if you wish to borrow a sensory bag.
