Admission to visit the Minack is by timed booking slot only. Advance booking is essential in holiday periods and strongly advised at all other times. Please arrive within 30 minutes after the time on your ticket. We cannot guarantee admission outside this time.
Once in the theatre, you can stay as long as you like – but check our closing times.
We may close early if there is a performance.
The Minack car park opens 15 minutes before the first visiting time. Unless there is a morning performance, ticket holders for the first visiting slot will be able to access the car park from 9.45am.
Daytime visitors: you can park from 30 minutes before your visit slot time.
Showgoers: you can park from 90 minutes before the start of the performance.
Parking space is limited, so please don't arrive earlier, as we may not be able to admit you.
If there are no visiting slots available, the theatre may be closed for a daytime performance. WHAT’S ON
The gardens are throughout the theatre and so are only fully accessible during a theatre and garden visit. Access to some areas of the garden are restricted during performances.
The last entry time for visitors varies and will be early if there is a daytime performance. The theatre will close a minimum of 1 hour after the start of the final entry slot. Check entry times here.
You can arrive at any time during the 30 minute slot you have booked. If you arrive outside your 30 minute time slot, admission is not guaranteed.
You can exchange your ticket for another date or time (subject to availability) or request a refund up to 2 hours prior to your visit time (this maybe subject to a small charge).
The Minack is unable to accommodate large visiting groups. Bookings for up to 16 people can be purchased online or by calling the box office. Groups must be booked in advance to guarantee admission. Please note there is no designated coach parking at the Minack or in Porthcurno.
We do not hold waiting lists for either visitor or performance tickets.
Yes, you will need a visit ticket to access the café. The café is open during visiting times serving light refreshments. The café is closed for performances but if you are coming to a performance, you can buy takeaway drinks and snacks from the Terrace coffee shop in the theatre. FOOD & DRINK
The theatre has steep narrow paths and lots of steps. For your safety, prams, buggies and car seats are not permitted in the theatre.
Dogs on short leads are welcome during visiting hours. Please note, there is no shaded parking available onsite.

Drones are not allowed on or above any part of our property except by prior agreement. Private individuals are not permitted to fly drones from or over the Minack at any time.
