performed by St Mary's Singers
conductor Andrew Wyatt
Brahms’s German Requiem charts a journey through grief to hope in music that has brought comfort to generations of listeners. Conducted by Andrew Wyatt, St Mary’s Singers will perform the so-called ‘London Version’ with piano duet as arranged by Brahms featuring beautiful solos for soprano and baritone.
The concert will also mark the centenary of the death of C V Stanford with the Three Latin Motets together with music by Gibbons and Rutter.
