Musical Theatre Academy Auditions
Audition to be part of the Minack Musical Theatre Academy.
Musical Theatre Academy students spend one intense day a month working with professional practitioners and visiting speakers, such as directors, actors and West End stars, in practical workshops and talks whilst developing a portfolio of repertoire. The Academy helps talented young people develop advanced theatre skills required for a career within the performing arts.
Minack Musical Theatre Auditions will include: A warm up, a short dance routine and a minute/32 bar musical theatre song of your choice. The song must be prepared before the audition. Please bring sheet music cut and ready for the pianist to play.

Important information
Please arrive 15 minutes before your audition time.
Parking
Parking will be available at the theatre, please see the car park staff on your arrival.
Parents/carers
Please sign your child in with the chaperone at the entrance car park who will take them to the rehearsal room and bring them back at the end.
You must return to collect your child at the end of the audition slot. You are welcome to look around the theatre or use the cafe while waiting.
Students
Please wear clothes you can move in and sensible shoes.
Don't forget to prepare your audition piece!
